Gionee S6 is launched in India on 5th February. It was listed on its online shopping website as coming soon. Phone is priced 19999/- and available through Flipkart and its own online shop. This phone was launched in china last year in November. It comes with 2 SIM slot out of which one is hybrid slot, hence you can use it to put either second SIM or SD card.

Processor, RAM and Storage:

Phone is powered by 64 bit 1.3 GHz Mediatek octa-core processor with Mali-T720MP3 GPU. Processor has support of 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. You can also expand storage up-to 128 GB via Micro SD card. Processor unit is good enough to perform multi tasking and high end gaming.

Operating System:

Gionee S6 is running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and Amigo OS 3.1 user interface. There is no official news about its further upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Camera:

This smartphone sports 13 Mega Pixel of rear camera with LED flash. Camera has some important features like Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR etc. Picture quality of this camera is good and contains lot of details. For selfie lovers it comes with 5 MP front facing camera.

Display and Design:

Gionee s6 is backed with 3150 mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery. Battery is good enough to give a backup of 1 day for normal uses. It comes with all essential connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM, USB 2.0/Type-c etc. Taking about sensors, it has Proximity, Gyroscope, Magnetometer, Ambient light, Accelerometer. 

Verdicts:

As a premium device fingerprint scanner is absent in this phone. Some premium features like NFC and Infrared Sensors are also absent. Phone is quite handy, slim and light in weight. Screen to body ratio is also impressive. Amigo interface is user friendly and comes with a lot of optimization Overall device has good build quality so you can buy this phone.
