The features of Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge were already unveiled in MWC 2016 with ALWAYS ON DISPLAY and powerful features. Samsung has launched these phones in India on 8th March. Samsung Galaxy S7 is priced at Rs 48,900/- while the price of S7 Edge is Rs 56,900/-. These are the price for 32 GB variant, the 64 GB variant price is yet to be announced. Initially phones will be available in selected regions. Phone will be available in US from 11th of march and pre-bookings will start on 25th February. Pre-booking of the phones in India starts on Wednesday, will be available by 18 March. Those who pre-book the phone by 17 March will get the Samsung Gear VR headset Bundle for free.
Processor RAM and Memory:
Both phones come with powerful Qualcomm snapdragon 820 processor in some regions(US, Japan and China) and Exynos 8890 in the rest of the world including India. This is fastest processor available for smartphones till date. According to Qualcomm the Antutu benchmark comes out with 820 is about 124000. This processor is clubbed with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal space. Second SIM slot is hybrid slot so you can use it to expand storage upto 200 GB.
Operating System:
S7 and S7 Edge comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box with TouchWiz user interface. Hence you will enjoy all the latest features of Android on these phones.
Camera:
Both phones sports 12 Mega pixel of rear camera with flash. Camera also features PDAF and OIS sensors to focus faster and produce natural images. Camera also features geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, Auto HDR, panorama. Picture quality of this camera is really impressive which contains a lot of details in it. Both phones features 5 MP front facing camera for selfie addict people.

Both are coming with super AMOLED Quad-HD (1440x2560p) Edged display. Display size of Galaxy s7 is 5.1 inch while S7 Edge is 5.5 inch . Dimensions of S7 are 142.4 x 69.6 x 7.9 while S7 Edge has 150.9 x 72.6 x 7.7. Weight of S7 is 152 grams and S7 Edge is 157 grams.

Galaxy S7 comes with 3000 mAh and S7 Edge comes with 3600 mAh battery. Batteries of these phone are good enough according to display size to give a long day backup with normal uses. These phones features quick charge 3.0 which helps you phone to charge 0 to 80% in just 30 minutes. Phones also comes with fingerprint scanner to unlock your device with and ease.
Both phones features Fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, heart rate, SpO2 sensors. S7 and S7 Edge supports 4G LTE band in India. For connectivity purpose phones are coming with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC. Phones will come in four different colours Black, White, Gold, Silver
