A big surprise for all Yu users is coming soon. CEO of Yu televentures "Rahul Sharma" said that, all 4 devices of Yu will receive Marshmallow update in next 30 days. Beta version of these updates are available for all of these phones. Users can download these beta version of Marshmallow updates from official forum.

Rahul Sharma also assured that these updates will be stable and bug free. Yu has launched 4 smartphones till date Yureka (Yureka Plus), Yuphoria, Yunique and Yutopia. Yureka is most successful phone by Yu while Yutopia is the flagship phone.

Yu is launching its next flagship smartphone on 31^stMay but Yu is also giving a gift to all old users. Some of the rumours said that Cyanogen has broken the partnership with Yu and users may not get update.  But now it is officially announced that phones will get update for sure in next month.

Some days before Yu announced the project highway and invited the developers to develop the stable ROMs. A video is released by Yu that shows the phones are running on Android Marshmallow. Let me make you clear that phones will get Marshmallow but not based on Cyanogen 13. It mean that phones running on stock android will get this update only. This upcoming Marshmallow update is not for cyanogen users.

Cyanogen users can get the stable Marshmallow ROMs based on cyanogen 13 from official forum of Yu. To install these update you need to have root access and TWRP recovery.
