The most awaited smartphones of LeEco has launched today in the Mega event held in Delhi at Siri Fort Auditorium. LeEco launched Le2, Le2 Max along with their Headphones that is based on CDLA (Continual Digital lossless Audio) technology. Le Max2 will be available on Flipkart as well as on LeMall from 28 June, for which registrations will be start on 20 June. LeMall.com is the E-commerce site of LeEco which will be available in India in a month or two.
Le max2 is priced at Rs 22999 for 4 GB/32 GB variant and Rs 29999 for 6 GB/64 GB variant. Le2 is priced at Rs 11999/-. Both smartphones come with a 1-year LeEco Membership, which is priced at Rs 490 a month, or Rs 4,900 a year. The LeEco also announced a fan campaign, where it will give 200 Le2 smartphones for testing to Chief Experience Officers (CEOs) who can register on Facebook and LeMall.com for the chance to get the smartphone for Rs 1.
PROCESSOR AND MEMORY
Le Max2 is based on the fastest processor available till now that is Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. It has four cores clocked at 2.15 GHz. It’s a 64 bit processor with Kryo structure. It also has the latest Qualcomm Adreno 530 GPU.
While in Le2 LeECo provides Qualcomm snapdragon 652 SoC. It has eight cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. Le2 is the first phone in India that features SD 652 SoC. As far the memory is concerned Le Max2 has two variants 6GB RAM with 64 GB ROM and 4 GB RAM with 32 GB ROM. Le2 has 3 GB RAM with 32 GB ROM. There is no expandable as well as hybrid slot in both of the phones.
DISPLAY AND CAMERA
Le Max2 has a 5.7 inches super retina 2k display which enhances your viewing experience. The pixel density of the phone is 515 PPI which is more than Le Max and IPhone 6s plus. It sports 21 MP rear and 8 PM front facing camera. The camera features PDAF, closed loop, Dual HDR with Dual tone flash.
Le2 has 5.5 inches full HD In-Cell display with resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. The In-cell display produces more vivid and crispy pictures said by LeEco representatives. Le2 has 16 MP rear and 8 MP front camera with PDAF, closed loop and Dual tone flash.
SOFTWARE AND SECURETY
Both of the phones operate on latest Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of the box with EUI 5.6.01 on top of it. Both of the phones have finger print sensor with world’s first sense ID 3D finger print technology, which means it can detect your finger prints with grease, oil or moisture on finger tips. Also both phones support the new generation LeEco fast charge feature with Auto dynamic voltage regulation to provide 3.5 hours of battery life with a 5 minute charge.
BATERRY AND CONNECTIVITY
Le Max2 has 3100 mAh and Le2 has 3000 mAh non removable battery. The battery is the weakest point on both of the phones as other phones in this range provide at least 4000 mAh battery. The USB type-C cable is used for connectivity options. These smartphones are the world's first to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack in favour of a USB Type-C port. The other connectivity options are 4G LTE (all bands in india with VoLTE), Bluetooth 4.1, infrared blaster etc.
