Yes, Moto is back to give a tough competition to Chinese brands in India. Moto G4 and G4 Plus is exclusively launched in India only. These phone features powerful processor along with so many variants. Moto G4 comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal but price and availability details are still not disclosed. G4 Plus is coming in 2 variants i.e. 2 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM variant is priced 13499/- while 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage variant is priced. 14999/-.

 

Moto G4 Plus also have 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage variant but price and availability details of this phone are not disclosed. You can buy these phone from Amazon from this Wednesday (18 May 2016). It comes with two colour variants Black and White. These Moto phones are powered by octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor. As a highlight phones are running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.

Smartphones also have a dedicated SD card slot to expand storage up to 128 GB. Coming to the display, Moto G4 and G4 plus comes with full-HD display i.e. 1080x1920p resolution. Display also has protection of corning gorilla glass 3. If compare with Moto G3, this time display is bigger with better pixel density of 401 PPI. These phones also have fingerprint scanner on the home button. G4 and G4 Plus are only devices by Moto, which comes with fingerprint scanner.

One of the most important part of a smartphone is camera, and it makes G4 different from G4 Plus. Moto G4 features 13 MP camera along with LED flash and laser auto focus while Moto G4 Plus comes with 16 MP rear camera along with PDAF, laser autofocus and dual colour balancing LED flash. Both of these phones have 5 MP front facing camera to shoot perfect selfie.

Both of these phones are backed by 3000 mAh battery. On connectivity front phones are coming with dual 4G LTE Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, 3.5mm audio jack, and GPS/ A-GPS. It comes with two SIM card slots, one supports 4G while another supports 3G networks. As we all know Moto mobility is acquired by Lenovo and after that this is first device of Moto.

Comparison between Moto G3 and Moto G4:

Basic difference between Moto G3 and G4 is Size of display. G3 has 5 inch HD (720p) display while G4 comes with 5.5 inch big and full HD (1080p) display. Processor of G4 (1.5 GHz octa-core snapdragon 617 with Adreno 405 GPU) is enhanced, compared to G3 (1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 with Adreno 306 GPU). Camera of the phone remains same but focusing is now very fast as it comes with laser auto focus. Battery is increased from 2470 (G3) mAh to 3000 mAh (G4), but it will not make much difference in battery backup because of the size of the display.
